In love with paper flowers..

Greetings!!!

I got lot of paper flowers lingering into my stash. Every time I visit a craft store, these colorful flowers just grab my attention, and I end up collecting more. 

Well I figured out I had lot of stuff not being used LOL. Used these paper flowers with some metal and resin embellishments. And the outcome really was more than enough to charge my batteries.

Love making miniatures!!

    I love reading books. Thought it would be fun to create vintage themed mini book. 
    Created this little 1' by 1'5" book. Book cover and pages all are made up of paper and glue.

    Here are some pictures.




   Made one more steampunk themed piece.



   Rust effect in the frame is added using embossing powder with modelling paste.

Altered Mixed media frame

Greetings!!!

I would like to share my new experiment with altering old frames.I pulled out some of the very old products from my stash, plus a few from here and there. I was trying to find inspiration since many days and finally I found one.

I have added some wooden embellishments too. I did not have black gesso, so i added black acrylic with Camel texture white and then gave my frame couple of coats.

Here are some pictures of the frame before i started painting.







When it dried, I added Fevicryl colurs - Pearl Gold, Green and some blue shades.
